We've been on Main Street in Chula Vista for 10 years, backed by over 35 years of combined experience. We're a family business that works on every kind of car the local community drives — Asian, domestic, and European — and our local military community brings every make and model imaginable. European service (Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar) is a particular strength of ours. The name on the building changes, but the work doesn't: honest diagnostics, the right parts, and a clean shop you'll actually want to come back to.

The trade we grew up in
The people behind OREC have over 35 years of combined experience working on cars — Asian, domestic, and European. The skill came first; the shop came later.
OREC opens on Main Street
A family shop opens in Chula Vista with a simple idea: fix vehicles right the first time and treat every customer like family. Same block ever since.
ASE Certified
Full team ASE certification. The automotive industry's technical standard, across every system. Our techs train regularly to stay current.
STAR Smog & Clean Truck Check
Became a STAR-certified smog station (and we perform regular Smog Checks too). Added Clean Truck Check (CTC) authorization for the emissions side of heavy-duty vehicle compliance.

We use the correct part and the correctly-certified fluid for each specific vehicle. Sometimes that's OEM, sometimes that's a quality alternative — it's always the right call for that car.

We invest in the manufacturer-spec tools and software the platforms call for. We read the service manual and the procedure, then we get it right the first time.
