Diagnostics
Factory-level OBD diagnostics for every make we service. We use manufacturer-spec scan tools so we can read the full picture, not just the code that lit the warning light.
Diagnostics done right
When a warning light appears on your car, the most useful thing is a full scan. We use the manufacturer-spec diagnostic equipment for the platform — for Audi/VW (ODIS / VCDS), BMW/MINI (ISTA), Mercedes, Land Rover, and Jaguar, and the equivalent tooling for the Asian and domestic makes we work on.
A diagnostic is a specific, focused service — different from a pre-purchase inspection, which is a more generic check.
What our diagnostics include
- Full scan across all vehicle modules (engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, HVAC, and more)
- Live data analysis: sensor readings, fuel trims, ignition timing, adaptations
- Freeze frame data review for intermittent faults
- Manufacturer-specific code definitions (not just generic descriptions)
- Written diagnostic report with recommended repair path and parts
Why the right tools matter
A generic OBD reader can show you a code. The manufacturer-spec tool shows you the full picture — what’s happening across the network, what adaptations have been learned, what’s recorded in modules a generic reader can’t see. That context is usually what tells us what’s actually going on.
After the diagnosis
Every diagnosis produces a written report. We’ll walk you through the findings, explain what’s required versus what’s optional, and give you an estimate before any repair begins. You decide — we don’t decide for you.
