Tune-Ups
A scheduled tune-up keeps the engine running the way it's supposed to. Spark plugs, ignition components, and the inspections that come with them.
What’s included in a tune-up
A proper tune-up isn’t a single task — it’s a scheduled set of inspections and replacements that keep the engine running the way the manufacturer intended.
- Spark plug replacement using the right plug for your specific vehicle
- Ignition coil inspection — we test each one
- Air filter replacement (engine and cabin)
- Fuel system inspection — fuel pressure and visible condition
- PCV valve and breather system check
- Throttle body inspection and cleaning when appropriate
When to schedule a tune-up
Service intervals are specific per brand and per model — we follow the manufacturer’s schedule for your specific vehicle.
If you notice rough idle, hesitation on acceleration, a change in fuel economy, or a misfiring sensation, bring it by. We’ll scan it, take a look, and let you know what we find.
The right part for your vehicle
We use the correct spark plug for your specific car — the right heat range, the right gap, the right brand for that engine. The wrong plug causes problems that look like different problems, which is not a place to compromise.
