If you drive a BMW in the San Diego area, we’d be glad to take care of it. BMW service is one of our particular strengths at OREC Imports — along with Audi, Mercedes, Land Rover, and Jaguar. All Asian and domestic makes are welcome too. We’re a family-owned shop on Main Street in Chula Vista — 10 years here, backed by over 35 years of experience.

We do not service diesel engines.

How we approach BMW service

  • Diagnostics. We use BMW-spec scan tools (ISTA) so we can see the full set of modules on the car. A check-engine light is one signal; the full module scan usually tells the rest of the story.
  • Parts. We use the right part for your specific BMW. Sometimes that’s OEM, sometimes a quality alternative — always the right call for that car. Part numbers go on your invoice.
  • Fluids. BMW platforms call for specific oil and brake fluid specifications. We use the correctly-certified fluid for your model — we’re a Liqui Moly authorized service center.
  • Coding and resets. When a service procedure calls for an adaptation, reset, or relearn step, we do it in-house. Every car needs the reset or relearn procedure it calls for.

We do not service diesel engines, and we don’t do bodywork or paint — we can refer you out for those.

Warranty

Our work is backed by a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty. We perform warranty work in-house.
