What the system is actually doing
When you press the pedal, that pressure gets carried through brake fluid to a caliper at each wheel, which squeezes a pair of pads against a rotor to slow the car down. Pads, rotors, calipers, and fluid all work together — and all of them wear or age differently depending on how and where you drive.
Why we check brakes at every visit
Brakes are the kind of thing where a small check now is easier than catching up later, so we look at pad thickness, rotor condition, and fluid condition every time your car is in for service. All maintenance is priority — we don’t wait for one system to become the loudest one before we pay attention to it.
Brake fluid matters too
Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air over time, which changes how it performs. We check its condition at every visit and let you know when it’s time for a flush.
What we watch for
A pedal that feels different than usual, a noise while braking, or a car that pulls to one side are all worth a look. The only way to know what’s actually going on is to get the car on the lift and inspect the whole system — guessing from how it feels tends to send people down the wrong path.
