San Diego is a good place to own a car. The climate is mild, the roads are clean, and there’s a big mix of makes on the road — Asian, domestic, and European, with our local military community bringing every kind of vehicle through our doors.
We’re a family-owned shop on Main Street in Chula Vista — 10 years here, backed by over 35 years of experience. European service (Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar) is a particular strength of ours, and we welcome all Asian and domestic makes too.
This post is a quick overview of how we approach European service.
Tools
We use the manufacturer-spec scan tools the platform calls for — ODIS / VCDS for VW and Audi, ISTA for BMW and MINI, and the equivalent tooling for Mercedes, Land Rover, and Jaguar. A full scan looks at every module on the car so we see the whole picture, not just the system that triggered a warning light.
Parts and fluids
European cars are particular about parts and especially fluids. We use the correct part and the correctly-certified fluid for each specific vehicle — sometimes that’s OEM, sometimes a quality alternative, always the right call for that car. We’re a Liqui Moly authorized service center.
Resets and adaptations
Many European repairs call for an adaptation, reset, or relearn after the part goes in. We do those in-house. Every car needs the reset or relearn procedure it calls for.
Smog Checks
We perform regular California Smog Checks, and we’re a STAR Smog Station. We’re also CTC (Clean Truck Check) credentialed for emissions compliance.
Warranty
Our work is backed by a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty. We perform warranty work in-house.
