We’re an authorized Liqui Moly service center. We like their fluids and we keep their product line on the shelf for the vehicles we work on most often. This is a quick, plain explanation of why.
What Liqui Moly is
Liqui Moly is a German-engineered fluids brand — oils, additives, gear oils, transmission fluids — that’s widely used on European vehicles and meets the specific manufacturer specifications written for them.
Why specs matter more than brands
European platforms — Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar — call for very specific fluid specifications. The right oil for your vehicle isn’t a generic 5W-30; it’s a 5W-30 (or whatever weight the manufacturer calls for) that meets a specific approval (VW 502.00, BMW LL-01, MB 229.5, and so on).
Liqui Moly’s product line maps cleanly to those specs, which makes it easy for us to be sure we’re using the right certified fluid for the right vehicle.
What we put in your car
We use the right certified fluid for your specific vehicle, whatever the platform calls for. For most European platforms we work on, that’s a Liqui Moly product. For other vehicles — Asian, domestic — we use the fluid that’s correct for that car. Toyota and Honda models that spec 0W-8 get 0W-8.
The principle is the same across the shop: the right part, and the right certified fluid, for your specific vehicle.
What you’ll see
The product and the specification go on your invoice. No mystery about what’s in your engine.
