Alignment
Precision wheel alignment for every make we service. We perform four-wheel alignment to manufacturer specifications and document before/after measurements.
Why alignment matters
Every vehicle has a suspension geometry engineered for specific handling characteristics. Even a small deviation from specification affects:
- Tire wear: improper alignment is the primary cause of premature, uneven tire wear
- Handling: a misaligned vehicle pulls to one side, requires constant steering correction, and responds differently in evasive maneuvers
- Fuel economy: increased rolling resistance from misaligned tires reduces efficiency
- Safety: in emergency situations, the vehicle must respond predictably
When to get an alignment
- After replacing struts, control arms, tie rod ends, or any steering/suspension component
- After a significant pothole, curb strike, or collision — even minor
- When installing new tires (strongly recommended)
- If the vehicle pulls to one side with hands off the wheel
- If the steering wheel is centered but the vehicle tracks off-center
Annual alignment checks are good practice on any vehicle driven in areas with rough roads.
Our alignment process
- Pre-alignment suspension inspection — we identify and note any worn components that would affect alignment hold
- Four-wheel alignment on a calibrated alignment rack to manufacturer specifications (not SAE generic tolerances)
- Before/after printout provided — you see the measurements, not just “it’s done”
- Steering wheel centering verification
